I shall also throw in extras, as some of the characters are favourites for reasons other than the character alone, such as good delivering or very well thought out appropriateness to the canon material.

5. Elena Turk from Final Fantasy VII. Hard one as I adore the vast majority of the cast.
6. Near from Death Note
7. Connie from Portable Doors series.
8. Rock from Black Lagoon
9. Lucia from Shadow Hearts series
10. Selphie from Final Fantasy VIII
Extra:
- Phoenix Wright from Ace Attorney series. Beaten Maya Fey by a credit card thickness, because of the more well rounded delivering of his character in AA4.
- Loretta West from Outrageous Fortune. I disliked her for a while in the third season, however by the fourth I love her. This season? I'm leaning toward GO AWAY YOU ARE NOT THE LORETTA I KNOW again.
- Alyssa from Silent Hill series. Exclude the movie, consider what happened to Alyssa's character was the reason I am 1000% in a personal vendetta against Christopher Gans. Had Heather and Henry been in a different game they'd both make the list. Sorry, Alyssa comes first for very, very different reasons.

I do see your point though. I don't want to piss of Rock, EVER. Consider he's the only one who actually stand up against Revy, even Dutch avoids that topic. I was all O_O WHOA ROCK then he picked a fight with Balailaika.
